Two Rad Books

 Two rad books have been added to the Rad Mini Library - two great stories about resisting oppressors, self-determination, and solidarity.

Freewater by Amina Luqman-Dawson is a historical middle-grade novel about two enslaved children's escape from a plantation and the many ways they find freedom.

Being the World Over by Kung Li Sun is a counterfactual novel about the Founders' greatest fear - that Black and Indigenous people might join forces to undo the newly formed United States of America - coming true.
